Preview: Leicester City vs. Sheffield Wednesday

Sports Mole previews Friday's Championship encounter between Leicester City and Sheffield Wednesday at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester City could be promoted to the Premier League this weekend with a win at home to Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night.

The Foxes will return to the top flight for the first time since 2004 if they beat Wednesday and Queens Park Rangers lose to Bournemouth the following day.

Nigel Pearson's side are currently 16 points clear of third-placed QPR with seven games left to play.

Meanwhile, a fourth win in six matches for the 14th-placed Owls would see the visitors edge closer towards the top half of the table.

Wednesday earned a surprise 2-1 victory over Leicester when the two teams met at Hillsborough back in December.

Jamie Vardy remains sidelined for the hosts, who have no fresh injury concerns. Michail Antonio could return for the visitors while Sam Hutchinson is expected to undergo a late fitness test.
