Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has insisted that his side are ready to face Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
The Foxes have climbed up to second place in the Championship table after winning five of their last six matches.
Pearson has said that he is expecting a tough match against Forest, who have lost their last two matches.
"It's a big fixture for both clubs. In the context of the season, we're going well and we want to maintain our form and ability to push on, and I'm sure they'll be coming into it looking to get back on track," Pearson told Leicester's official website.
"That's the interesting thing in this league, that the pressure is always there to go and get that win. We try and prepare in a very similar way to any other game. We've got to be aware in local derbies that it's about the decision making of players on the pitch, and to do that they've got to be in control.
"So we've got to get the balance right in terms of being fired up for the game and making the right decisions. It's a very fine line, and we'll approach it like any other game in some sense, but of course it's one that the players are very much looking forward to playing in."
Leicester won the last meeting between the clubs in May.
