Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson feels that his side produced one of their best displays of the season in their 3-0 win over Blackburn Rovers.
The Foxes strengthened their promotion challenge thanks to strikes from Chris Wood, Harry Kane and Andy King.
"For the vast majority of the first half we played really well. The last 25 minutes of the first half was up there with the best football we have played this season," Pearson told the club's official website.
"We defended well as a team, moved the ball really well, scored three headed goals and did our goal difference the world of good."
Leicester are fifth in the Championship following their win and are now five points adrift of the automatic promotion places.
