Wes Morgan praises Nigel Pearson approach

Wes Morgan pays tribute to Nigel Pearson for not straying from his approach after Leicester City's 1-0 win over Hull City.

Wes Morgan paid tribute to Nigel Pearson after Leicester City ended a long wait for a win by beating Hull City 1-0 at the KC Stadium.

A Riyad Mahrez strike ended a run of two points from 13 matches, and Morgan believes that Pearson deserves credit for not straying from his tactics during a tough period for the Foxes.

"He has been exactly the same with us throughout, telling us to keep believing in ourselves and keep doing what we are doing, saying sooner or later our luck would change," the Leicester captain told Sky Sports News.

"Our fans see us week-in and week-out and they know how hard we are working. We haven't had the luck we have deserved lately, but this was a different story and hopefully we can continue.

"The spotlight is on us, but when you look at our performances we should not be where we are. We just want to find that winning way and show we are good enough to stay in the Premier League."

Leicester will look for back-to-back wins when they travel to Anfield to meet Liverpool on New Year's Day.
