Wes Morgan frustrated by Queens Park Rangers defeat

Leicester City defender Wes Morgan feels that his side need to be better at both ends after they extended their winless run to eight games in the Premier League.

Leicester City defender Wes Morgan has admitted that he and his teammates are frustrated with their eight-game winless run in the Premier League.

The Foxes dropped to the bottom of the table due to their 3-2 loss to Queens Park Rangers on Saturday as they continued their poor run of form, which has seen a win elude them since September.

Morgan has conceded that his side need to be more clinical at both ends of the pitch to ensure they turn their season around.

He told reporters: "It's obviously very frustrating. We feel in the majority of games we've played so far we've done quite well and not necessarily got anything out of it. I'm sure our luck will change – hopefully sooner rather than later – and we'll get back to getting some points.

"There are still a lot of games to go. We can't be too down in the dumps. We've got a big game on Tuesday and another one on Sunday so there are points there to be grabbed.

"We've just got to believe in ourselves, take our chances when we get them and hopefully defenders can do their jobs and keep clean sheets. We've got to be clinical when we get our chances at both ends."

Nigel Pearson's men host Liverpool in their next Premier League clash at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday.
