Swansea City boss Garry Monk: 'Leicester City not title contenders'

Garry Monk believes that the Leicester City bubble will burst soon and hopes that Swansea City administer the reality check.

Swansea City boss Garry Monk has told Leicester City to forget about winning the Premier League ahead of Saturday's contest at the Liberty Stadium.

The in-form Foxes travel to South Wales hoping to stay level on points with Manchester City at the summit of the table, having lost just once all season.

However, Monk, whose side have picked up one victory since August, is hopeful that the stuttering Swans can burst their visitors' bubble this weekend.

"I believe they have done fantastically, it is brilliant what they have done," he is quoted as saying by The Mirror.

"History shows you that in terms of whether they are title contenders, the answer is possibly not. But they are genuine top-six contenders."

Swansea sit 15th in the standings, four points clear of the drop zone.
