Hello everyone! It's the third weekend of the 2016-17 Premier League season. Can you believe how quickly we're getting through the games? It felt like we were waiting ages for the season to get underway and now the games are coming thick and fast! There are eight fixtures in the calendar today and right here we will be focusing on the clash between Leicester City and Swansea City at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester's defence of their title has not got off to the best start given that they are yet to pick up a win. Many would have tipped Claudio Ranieri's side to see off newly-promoted side Hull City on away turf, but it was not to be as they suffered a 2-1 defeat. They managed to hold Arsenal to a goalless draw, but if they fail to get a victory this afternoon, questions may be asked.

As for Swansea, they have had a mixed bag of results given that they defeated promoted side Burnley with a single goal, but they were unable to extend that positive run as they were beaten 2-0 by Hull at the Liberty Stadium. The Swans don't have the best record against Leicester (more of that later), but the pressure will be on the Foxes to get a result today.

Right, before we go any further, let's bring you both lineups...

Claudio Ranieri has made just the one change to the side that drew 0-0 with Arsenal and it's an enforced one. Nampalys Mendy is out of the squad today due to an ankle injury, so Daniel Amartey comes into the midfield. Danny Drinkwater plays for the first time since signing a new contract at the club, while Shinji Okazaki keeps his place up front alongside Jamie Vardy. Summer signing Ahmed Musa once again has to settle for a spot on the bench.

As for Swansea, Francesco Guidolin has named an unchanged XI to the team that started against Hull last weekend. Neil Taylor is not in the squad as he has opted to play for the Under-23s in order to build up his fitness, while club-record signing Borjan Baston continues to nurse a thigh injury. Twenty-year-old striker Oliver McBurnie is named on the bench after scoring twice in Swansea's EFL Cup in midweek.

Let's be honest, even the most ardent of Leicester fan would not have predicted that their club would finish as Premier League champions in May. That's exactly what they did, and they did it in quite a fashion! Ranieri's men ended the campaign with a 10-point advantage over their competitors, with Arsenal coming closest to challenging them. On top of that, Leicester only lost three out of 38 games in the league last season.

Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez and N'Golo Kante were key to the Foxes' title win, which was their first in the club's 132-year history. As expected, all three players dominated the transfer headlines, sparking concerns that Leicester may not be able to keep hold of them. Arsenal launched a pursuit for Vardy, who scored 24 Premier League goals last season, but the striker opted to sign a new long-term deal at the King Power.

Arsenal were also linked with a move for Mahrez, but the Algerian also decided to commit his future to the Foxes. In an interview, the winger admitted that only two or three clubs in the world could prise him away from Leicester - I guess they didn't come in for him then! Leicester were further boosted when Kasper Schmeichel and Danny Drinkwater also penned new contracts.

The only disappointment this summer was that they failed to keep hold of Kante, who succumbed to the lure of Chelsea. Leicester pocketed a reported £32m in the deal, but they will miss the midfielder over the course of the season. He played all but one Premier League match in their title-winning campaign, which leaves a big gap to fill.

With regards to incomings, Ranieri has recruited Ben Hamer, Luis Hernandez, Bartosz Kapustka, Nampalys Mendy, Ahmed Musa and Ron-Robert Zieler. Musa has come into the fold to help out Vardy up front, but rather surprisingly, he was left out of the team that played Arsenal last weekend. Instead, he had to settle for a spot on the bench. Today, he has been given the same fate.

Let's take a moment to speak about Vardy, shall we? He made the headlines last season for scoring 24 league goals, just one fewer than Golden Boot winner Harry Kane. Vardy also set a new Premier League record by scoring in 11 consecutive fixtures. In addition, the striker produced six assists last season and registered 115 shots. Obviously, we're only two games into the 2016-17 campaign, but the 29-year-old has yet to have a shot on target.

So, how are Leicester doing on the pitch? Their final warm-up game before the season kicked off was a Community Shield clash against Manchester United at Wembley. The Foxes had dominant spells on the ball during the game, but United struck first through Jesse Lingard. After the half-time break, Vardy managed to find a 52-minute equaliser, but it was Jose Mourinho's side that came out on top as Zlatan Ibrahimovic found the winner seven minutes from time.

Ranieri's men were favourites to kick off the defence of their title with a win when they faced Hull at the KC Stadium, but they were dealt a blow. After Mahrez scored a penalty early in the second half, Hull launched a comeback as Adama Diomande and Robert Snodgrass found the back of the net to earn the Tigers a surprise win.

Leicester's first game of the season at home came against Arsenal, and despite being the better side for large spells, they were unable to break the deadlock and were forced to settle for a goalless draw. I wouldn't say that there is much pressure on the Foxes heading into today's game, but concerns will be raised if they extend their winless run.

DID YOU KNOW? Leicester have kept eight clean sheets in 14 league matches, conceding just nine goals in that time. However, if they do not get a victory today, it will be the first time that the club have gone four straight league games without a in in 17 months.

If the worst happens and the Foxes lose today then they will become only the sixth defending top-flight champions to pick up one point from their first three games. The same happened to Arsenal in the 1991-92 season. Not the best of stats to have!

So, what has Ranieri had to say prior to this game?

The Italian told reporters: "It's good to achieve points but also Swansea want to come here and will try to do their best. For us it's important because we play at home and of course we want to win, but it will be a different match than last season.

"There are so many good players. They have a very good target man in front and three good wingers that can change and also [Gylfi] Sigurdsson. It's a very good team."

Let's turn our attention to Swansea, shall we? The Welsh club have recruited a number of new faces, including Leroy Fer, Mike van der Hoorn, Mark Birighitti, Fernando Llorente and Borja Baston, who joined from Atletico Madrid for a club-record fee of £15.5m. They have lost some key players, though. Ashley Williams being the main one! The defender spent eight years at the club, eventually taking the captain's armband, but decided to leave the Liberty Stadium for Everton earlier this summer.

Williams has been consistently strong for the Swans over the years, and it is clear that the team are still adjusting to his departure. Another player that they lost this summer was Andre Ayew, who switched to West Ham United. The attacker scored 12 goals and produced two assists for Swansea last season. Time will tell whether the club's remaining attacking players can step up!

The Swans had a great start to their campaign by overcoming promoted side Burnley at Turf Moor. Only one goal separated the two teams as Leroy Fer scored in the 82nd minute to give his team all three points. Guidolin's side had 17 attempts on goal, nine of which were on target. Burnley only managed three on target.

Swansea failed to carry their momentum into the next game against another promoted side Hull. It was the first game at the Liberty Stadium for the Swans, but it was a disappointing one as they lost 2-0. The Welsh outfit could only register three shots on target. Hull created four, but they scored twice from those attempts, with Shaun Maloney and Abel Hernandez netting late goals.

Guidolin's men got back to winning ways in the EFL Cup with a 3-1 triumph over Peterborough United. Young striker Oliver McBurnie caught the eye of the manager by scoring twice, and that's why he's in the squad today. Jay Fulton also got on the scoresheet in the comfortable win for Swansea.

STATS! Swansea have the chance to claim their third Premier League away win on the bounce for the first time in two years, but let's not forget, they conceded seven goals against Leicester in the 2015-16 campaign. On average, the Swans have earned 1.56 points per game under Guidolin. In total, they've won 28 points from 18 matches.

Ahead of this game, Guidolin told reporters: "It's important to remember that we conceded seven goals against Leicester last year.

"We need some reflection on those results and play a courageous game against a very good team. Leicester are a strong team - they are almost the same as last season. But it is very difficult to repeat the same result in the Premier League."

HEAD TO HEAD: The stats lie in Leicester's favour as the club have secured victory in their last four league meetings with Swansea. Since Leicester's 3-2 loss to their opponents in the old Second Division in 1950, they have gone 10 games unbeaten.

PREDICTION: So, how do you see this one turning out? Leicester may not have won a league game just yet, but they have shown positive play in both games. Vardy will be trying to find his shooting boots, and in front of a home crowd, they could get their first win today. Swansea have been inconsistent so far and they will mentally need to get over last seasons's drubbings, which were 3-0 and 4-0 defeats home and away.

It's almost kickoff time at the King Power? The teams will be making their way out of the tunnel shortly. Fingers crossed for an entertaining game!

KICKOFF! We're underway! Leicester are in their traditional blue strip, while Swansea don their all-white attire.

Leicester go on the frontfoot early on as Huth gets on the end of the ball and directs a header towards the near post, but goalkeeper Fabianski manages to comfortably snatch the ball with his hands.

Vardy, who has not yet got a shot on target this season, charges down the left-hand side and cuts in before unleashing a shot, but it smashes right into Naughton. Ouch!

The home side are definitely up for this one! They are moving the ball quickly and look to launch an attack at any opportunity. So far, Fabianski has not been heavily tested.

Vardy tries to get in behind, but Cork spots him and manages to clear the ball away. It's not for long, though, as Albrighton whips in a great cross from the left, but Mahrez gets in the way, stopping Simpson from getting on the end of it.

BOOKING! Fernandez is the first man to receive a yellow card this afternoon as he is penalised for bringing down Vardy on the left side of the final third.

CHANCE! Mahrez takes the free kick and he manages to get the ball over the wall, but it doesn't drop the way he'd like and the ball goes over the crossbar.

Albrighton looks to get into a good position in the final third, but the flag goes up for offside. Leicester are still very much dominating proceedings.

The home side may have had most of the ball, but Swansea are doing a good enough job to contain them.

Vardy shows some pace down the left-hand side and manages to get past Fernandez, but as he drives to the byline, he looks to find a teammate, but none of them match his run and the ball gets gathered up by the Swans.

Leicester earn a corner and it's taken short. Albrighton is the receiver and ends up delivering in a deep cross, searching for Huth but the defender fails to connect.

CHANCE! Albrighton gets another cross into the box, but Drinkwater's attempt flashes across goal. The weather isn't great around the King Power. We've had rain and now thunder and lightning!

SAVE! Swansea have a chance to cause some trouble at the other end, and it's taken them 25 minutes to do so! Sigurdsson gets the ball on the edge of the box before trying to swerve it past Schmeichel, but the Leicester keeper makes a stop.

BOOKING! Huth receives a caution from referee Roger East for an unnecessary high foot on Barrow.

Hmm should have Leicester just have been awarded a penalty? Under the new rules, holding in the box is deemed worthy of a spot kick and there was plenty of that going on against Huth. Nothing doing though!

Jamie Vardy is up and running in this new Premier League season! He hadn't had a shot on target in his first two league appearances, but he makes no mistake this afternoon! Drinkwater plays a huge part in the goal as he delivers a ball over the top for Vardy, who charges past Amat before his clinical finish into the back of the net.

Swansea try to respond immediately as Sigurdsson tries to curl the ball past the keeper, but his attempt drops just behind the bar.

It's pouring with rain at the moment and Leicester are forced into their own box as Simpson heads away a teasing ball into the area. It falls to Routledge, but he ends up knocking it out for a throw-in.

Barrow breaks away from his marker Fuchs before sending a cross into the box. Routledge reaches it and heads down, but Leicester are able to clear.

SAVE! Okazaki comes close to getting on the scoresheet with a thumping shot, but Fabianski manages to get there to push the ball out wide.

The half-time whistle goes and it's Leicester that head into the break the happier of the two teams as they have a 1-0 advantage thanks to Jamie Vardy. The England international is off the mark this season as he scored his first goal of the campaign. The champions have been dominant so far, while Swansea have struggled to cause any trouble at the other end. Will the visitors be able to respond in the second half? We'll return soon to find out!

RESTART! We're back underway at the King Power! Will Leicester gain their first league win of the season or will Swansea spoil the party by launching a comeback? Let's find out!

Leicester continue where they left off as Drinkwater finds Vardy through the middle. The England striker drags the ball wide and gets a cross in, but Fabianski comfortably claims.

Leicester have doubled their lead and it's thanks to Captain Morgan! The defender volleys in a loose ball from six yards out after Swansea fail to clear a corner kick. Morgan is playing his 200th game for the club as well!

The hosts have a chance to make it three as they are rewarded a penalty after Amat brought down Okazaki - no complaints there.

SAVE! Oh my! Fabianski denies Mahrez a goal from the penalty spot and then Okazaki misses the rebound. Still 2-0.

LEICESTER SUB: The Foxes may be winning the game, but there's some bad news on the injury front. Goalkeeper Schmeichel is forced off the pitch following a collision with Llorente. Zieler comes on to take his place.

SWANSEA SUBS: Guidolin makes a double change as Ki and Montero come on for Sigurdsson and Routledge.

Leicester win a corner thanks to Vardy and Swansea clear, but only just. You sense a third goal could be coming. It just depends on whether the visitors can stay compact at the back.

BOOKING! Fer is punished for a scissor tackle on Mahrez. He's the second Swansea man to go into the book.

Vardy tries to add to his goal tally by producing a long-range shot, but it fails to trouble Fabianski as the ball skies over the bar.

BOOKING! Simpson gets penalised for bringing down Montero. It was a mistimed challenge and the defender can have no complaints.

Another corner for Leicester as Montero's delivery into the box gets forced behind. Barrow takes the set piece, but it's not the best cross and Swansea manage to scramble the ball clear.

LEICESTER CUB: There is another change for the champions as summer signing Musa comes on to replace Albrighton. Ranieri has said that the forward needs to fit into his system, so he has 13 minutes or so to show that he can.

The weather has been causing a bit of havoc here! One of the floodlights has lost its power, so fans in that area are using phone torches to see.

Swansea have pulled a goal back! It will be a nervy final 10 minutes for Leicester! Fer is the man to get on the scoresheet as he gets on the end of Barrow's cross before heading home.

SWANSEA SUB: Young striker McBurnie makes his way onto the pitch. He replaces Cork as Swansea hunt for a shock equaliser.

At the moment, the Foxes look as though they are going to see out their win, but it takes just one strike to change everything.

Mahrez attempts to play in Musa, but Swansea spot the run and manage to clear the danger. The clock is ticking!

FOUR minutes have been added on. Can Swansea cause a big upset here? They are peppering Leicester's goal, but so far they're not getting through.

SAVE! Mahrez links up with Musa again, and this time the striker goes for glory, but he shoots straight at Fabianski.

It's all over at the King Power Stadium as Leicester register their first win of the Premier League season. It was thoroughly deserved by the reigning champions as they dominated the game. Jamie Vardy scored his first of the campaign, while captain West Morgan nabbed a second.
