Leicester City lead Blackburn Rovers at the interval, with Lloyd Dyer and a David Nugent penalty putting the hosts ahead.

Nigel Pearson's side enjoyed the majority of possession and took the lead after 16 minutes, with Andy King setting up Dyer for the opener.

Leicester continued to push for a second as captain Wes Morgan went close with an effort from a corner before Nugent netted from the spot on the stroke of half time.

The visitors improved ahead of the break but were unable to find a way through as Leicester remained a threat throughout.
