Andy King handed two-match ban

Wales midfielder Andy King will be suspended for the team's next two Euro 2016 qualifiers after being sent off against Cyprus.

Wales have announced that Andy King has been suspended for their next two Euro 2016 qualifiers after being sent off earlier this month.

The Leicester City midfielder was shown a straight red card for a foul on Cyprus captain Constantinos Makridis during the Welsh side's 2-1 win at the Cardiff City Stadium.

The Football Association of Wales confirmed on Twitter that UEFA has handed the 25-year-old a two-match ban, ruling him out of next month's qualifiers against Belgium and Israel.

King has made 28 appearances for his country since his international debut against Estonia in 2009.
