Preview: Leeds United vs. Bournemouth

Sports Mole looks ahead to Tuesday night's Championship meeting between ailing Leeds and inconsistent Bournemouth.

Brian McDermott's ailing Leeds United will look to pick up their first points in four matches when they host inconsistent Bournemouth in the Championship on Tuesday night.

Leeds have lost three on the bounce in the league, with Saturday's limp display at Millwall dropping them to 15th in the table.

Alex Mowatt made his league debut at The Den but may find himself dropped again to the bench, with Paul Green his most likely replacement on the wing.

In defence, Sam Byram is yet to fully recover from a long-term injury and looks set for a place on the bench.

Visiting Bournemouth, who go into the match in 10th place, were blown away by Blackburn in the first half on Saturday and are definitely without Richard Hughes, who picked up two bookings in 20 minutes after coming on as a substitute against Rovers.

Cherries manager Eddie Howe could well start with the same XI that lined up against Blackburn, although Andrew Surman is pushing for a start.

It's over five years since these two last met when Leeds were down in League One. That season the Whites won both games against Bournemouth.
