Rodgers hopes to have Leicester players back to face Leeds

Brendan Rodgers is confident that he will have four players back fit and available to face Leeds United in the Premier League this weekend.

The Foxes have been dealing with a sickness bug throughout the week that saw both James Maddison and Harvey Barnes miss out on the midweek draw to Spartak Moscow in the Europa League.

However, the Leicester City boss is confident that they and two other players will be returning to the squad against the Whites.

"Obviously, Wilfred Ndidi got some game time, which is great. Ricardo Pereira should be fine also, so we should get a few players back for the weekend.

"Hopefully the players who were out should be back and available, Harvey and James Maddison," Rodgers told lcfc.com.

The Foxes will face Leeds United as they look to rebound from losing to Arsenal last weekend.
