Steve Evans facing Leeds United "selection dilemma"

Steve Evans reveals that he may make "one or two changes" to Leeds United's starting lineup on Saturday afternoon for the visit of Yorkshire rivals Rotherham United.

Leeds United boss Steve Evans has admitted that he will have a tough choice to make when naming his side for the visit of Rotherham United this weekend.

The Whites have welcomed back Chris Wood, Stuart Dallas and Lewis Cook following their spells away on international duty over the past fortnight.

Evans will be without Charlie Taylor on Saturday afternoon as the left-back is still recovering from illness, though Liam Cooper is in contention despite suffering concussion in the 3-0 win over Huddersfield Town last time out.

Speaking to reporters ahead of his side's latest Yorkshire derby showdown, the Scotsman said: "Everyone's back [from international duty]. We've got one or two knocks but we'll keep them in-house.

"We might make one or two changes to the team. I don't want to give the people down the M1 any knowledge of what we're going to do, they'll see at 2pm.

"There may have been one or two selection dilemmas anyway. We've given everybody the opportunity to be fit and if they're not, then we have to change it. We'll work on the training ground as people would expect."

Leeds have taken eight points from a possible 15 since Evans was appointed as manager at Elland Road last month.
