Apollon Limassol have held Lazio to a 0-0 draw at home in the Europa League this evening.

Sergio Floccari had a decent chance for the visitors after eight minutes, but his shot was too far wide from the edge of the box.

The hosts responded with a chance of their own through Fotis Papoulis, but his angled drive was just wide after 13 minutes.

Christian Ledesma fired in an ambitious 35-yard effort for Lazio that went close on 23 minutes, before Brazilian midfielder Hernanes was denied five minutes later when his shot inside the box was well blocked by the Apollon defence.

Diego Novaretti should have done better just after the hour mark, but he could not connect properly with a header from Keita's corner.
