Robbie Keane agrees Los Angeles Galaxy contract extension

Robbie Keane has signed a multi-year contract extension with MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy, the team has announced.

The Irishman, who joined the club in 2011, has scored 34 goals in 55 appearances for the side.

The 33-year-old was named Galaxy's most valuable player last season, having scored 16 goals in the campaign.

Galaxy face Real Salt Lake when the new MLS season gets underway at the weekend.
