Carlos Tevez not panicking over World Cup chances

Tevez calm over World Cup hopes

Juventus forward Carlos Tevez has insisted that he is not worried about the possibility of missing the chance to play for Argentina in the World Cup this summer.

The 30-year-old has been in fine form this season, scoring 19 goals in Serie A, but he hasn't appeared for Argentina since Alejandro Sabella took charge of the team in 2011.

"I do my job on the pitch and after that it's up to Sabella to decide whether I go to the World Cup or not, not me," Tevez Today Passion.

"It's not up to me to pick up the phone and convince him. If I don't get picked, I'll go to the seaside with my family."

Tevez has scored 13 goals in 64 appearances for Argentina.
