Report: Juventus to let Leonardo Bonucci join Chelsea in exchange for Cesc Fabregas

Juve 'want Fabregas in exchange for Bonucci'

Juventus have reportedly agreed to let Leonardo Bonucci join Chelsea, but only if the Blues will let Cesc Fabregas move in the opposite direction.

The 29-year-old was linked with the West London outfit, as well as Manchester City, in the summer but the Italian giants were able to keep hold of the centre-back.

Antonio Conte is desperate to land Bonucci, according to The Sun, and is allegedly willing to let Fabregas go to Turin as well as making Bonucci the most expensive defender ever.

Massimiliano Allegri, meanwhile, is reportedly looking to strengthen his midfield after losing the likes of Andrea Pirlo and Paul Pogba in recent years, and sees Fabregas as a good fit for the Bianconeri.

Fabregas has found first-team opportunities hard to come by under Conte and was put back on the bench for Chelsea's victory over Hull City after making his first league start in the 3-0 defeat by Arsenal.
