Juventus 'lodge £12.5m bid' for Fernando Llorente

Juventus have offered £12.5m for Athletic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente, according to reports.

The Italian champions, who have tracked the 27-year-old all summer, have officially lodged a bid, according to Goal.com.

Llorente is out of contract in 2013 and the target man has yet to begin negotiations with the Basque side.

The player was a runner-up in both the Europa League and the Copa del Rey with Athletic last season.
