Saturday's Serie A predictions including Juventus vs. Udinese

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Juventus vs. Udinese.

Sampdoria vs. Torino (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Inside the top half of the Serie A table after starting the week with an excellent win, Torino visit struggling Sampdoria at Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Saturday.

While the Granata returned from a COVID-19 outbreak to beat in-form Fiorentina 4-0 on Monday, their hosts have lost both games since the winter break and are just six points clear of the drop zone.

We say: Sampdoria 1-1 Torino

While Samp have been struggling to pick up points at Marassi, Torino are generally terrible away from home - registering just one victory from 10 Serie A road trips this season.

Though confidence levels before the game should be heavily in the away side's favour, Samp can rely on some of their old guard to help snatch a precious point towards their aim of staying afloat in the top flight.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Salernitana vs. Lazio (Saturday, 5.00pm)

Bedeviled by inconsistency throughout the 2021-22 campaign, Lazio resume their pursuit of a European place when they travel south to meet Salernitana on Saturday.

The clubs convene at Stadio Arechi with the Aquile sitting eighth in the table after another loss last weekend, while their rock-bottom hosts defied terrible form and a brief brush with Serie A expulsion to beat Verona.

We say: Salernitana 1-3 Lazio

Only Lazio's lame away record gives pause for deliberation before concluding that they will walk away from Salerno with maximum points this weekend.

Against Serie A's bottom side - potentially depleted by absences again - the productive Aquile attack will prove too hot for their hosts to handle - exploiting their weaknesses in defence.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Juventus vs. Udinese (Saturday, 7.45pm)

After riding a rollercoaster of emotions during the past few days, Juventus return to the more prosaic task of taking on Serie A strugglers Udinese on Saturday.

Joy from the Bianconeri's thrilling comeback in the seven-goal thriller against Roma soon dissipated in midweek, as they were beaten by a last-minute goal from their bitterest rivals in the Supercoppa Italiana.

We say: Juventus 2-0 Udinese

The cruel nature of their last-gasp defeat in Milan may cause a hangover for Juventus this weekend, but once they get up and running, the home side should take charge of affairs against their brittle Bianconeri counterparts.

Udinese have not only had a serious virus outbreak to contend with, but also are short of some regular starters in defence, so the odds are stacked against them even escaping with a point.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
