Saturday's Serie A predictions including Juventus vs. Atalanta

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Serie A fixtures, including Juventus vs. Atalanta BC.

Empoli vs. Fiorentina (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Following a memorable home win last weekend, Fiorentina take the short trip to Empoli on Saturday, as the two Serie A rivals convene for a Tuscan derby.

Both teams are exceeding expectations so far this season, as the Viola's victory over Milan sees them sit just a point below fifth, while their hosts have won five times already to lift themselves into mid-table security.

We say: Empoli 1-2 Fiorentina

Though following up the emotional high of bettering Milan at the Franchi is a tough task for Fiorentina, they have discovered an attacking confidence this season which will help them seal back-to-back victories just down the road in Empoli.

Vlahovic and his supporting cast can prise apart the hosts' defence on more than one occasion, prolonging their lacklustre record at the Castellani.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Sampdoria vs. Hellas Verona (Saturday, 2.00pm)

Seeking to continue their remarkable revival over recent weeks, Hellas Verona visit Sampdoria on Saturday afternoon at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

A string of excellent results under new coach Igor Tudor continued for the Scaligieri last weekend, while struggling Samp posted a third win of the season to pull away from the Serie A drop zone.

We say: Sampdoria 2-2 Hellas Verona

Ahead of winnable games against Cagliari and Venezia in the coming week, Verona can take a point home with them on Saturday - continuing their growing unbeaten run.

Samp, though, should take a share of the spoils, as their visitors' form is less impressive away from the Bentegodi.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Juventus vs. Atalanta (Saturday, 5.00pm)

Separated by four points and as many places in the Serie A standings, Juventus and Atalanta BC meet in Turin on Saturday, with the hosts seeking to make up lost ground on their rivals.

Though the Bianconeri - already qualified thanks to a previously flawless record - were thumped by Chelsea in the Champions League, they have won both of their last two league games. Their visitors, meanwhile, sit fourth after a six-game unbeaten run.

We say: Juventus 1-1 Atalanta BC

Despite their stumble in Switzerland this week, Atalanta's away form this season has been mightily impressive, so they can take a point home from Turin to keep Juventus at bay in the ongoing contest for a top-four position.

La Dea's customary attacking width can cause problems for an often unbalanced Juve midfield, but they may come up just short of a first win at the Old Lady's home ground since the turn of the century.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Venezia vs. Inter Milan (Saturday, 7.45pm)

A brilliant week at San Siro sets Inter Milan up for a visit to Venezia on Saturday evening, as the reigning champions seek to close the gap further to the teams at the top.

Consecutive wins against leaders Napoli and Champions League rivals Shakhtar Donetsk have left the Nerazzurri in good shape before a hectic December schedule, while their hosts have won their last two games to rise up the Serie A standings.

We say: Venezia 0-2 Inter Milan

It has been a productive few days for Inter, and though legs might be tiring in the midst of an intense fixture schedule, their deep squad contains enough quality to make the difference against improving Venezia.

The champions may need to make full use of the five substitutions rule to seal the deal, but are set to leave the lagoon with maximum points, as their pursuit of the leaders continues apace.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.
