How Juventus could line up against Brescia

Sports Mole looks at how Juventus could line up in Sunday's Serie A clash with Brescia.

Juventus will be looking to return to winning ways in Serie A when they welcome 19th-placed Brescia to Turin on Sunday afternoon.

The Italian champions relinquished first spot to Inter Milan last weekend courtesy of a 2-1 defeat at Hellas Verona, while they were also beaten away to Napoli at the end of January.

A point for the Old Lady against Brescia would be enough to see them return to the summit, though, as Inter are not in action against third-placed Lazio until later in the evening.

Juve will enter the match off the back of a 1-1 draw away to AC Milan in the first leg of their Coppa Italia semi-final on Thursday night, where Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 24th goal of the season.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Maurizio Sarri's side could line up this weekend.

POSS JUVE XI vs. BRE

Out: Douglas Costa (muscle), Sami Khedira (knee), Merih Demiral (knee), Federico Bernardeschi (muscle), Giorgio Chiellini (knee)

Juve will again be unable to call upon Sami Khedira, Merih Demiral or Giorgio Chiellini due to long-term knee injuries, while Federico Bernardeschi is out with a muscular problem.

Brazilian attacker Douglas Costa has also been ruled out for the remainder of the month with the muscular injury that he picked up during the surprise defeat at Verona last weekend.

Rodrigo Bentancur and Adrien Rabiot were both left out of the starting XI against Milan on Thursday but should return here, while Wojciech Szczesny will also be back between the sticks.

Juan Cuadrado operated further forward at San Siro but is expected to drop into defence this weekend, while it will again be a straight fight between Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain to partner Ronaldo.

Dybala is being tipped to get the nod, though, with Aaron Ramsey operating just behind the front two.
