Reports in Italy suggest that Juventus manager Antonio Conte will resign if he is found guilty for his alleged part in the Italian match-fixing scandal.

Reports have suggested that Juventus boss Antonio Conte will tender his resignation should he receive a 10-month ban for his alleged part in the Italian match-fixing scandal.

A disciplinary committee rejected the 43-year-old's plea bargain for a three-month touchline ban and a fine of around £160,000 after he failed to alert authorities to two incidents of attempted match-fixing while manager of Serie B outfit Siena.

Conte will now be subject to a full trial, where prosecutor Stefano Palazzi has recommended a 15-month ban.

According to Italian newspaper La Repubblica, the former Bianconeri midfielder will hand in his resignation should he be found guilty.
