Patrice Evra: 'No excuses for Juventus' following Napoli defeat

Juventus defender Patrice Evra states that everyone is responsible following the club's poor start to the Serie A season.

Juventus defender Patrice Evra has stated that the club's more experienced players can have no excuses following the reigning champions' poor start to the season.

The Old Lady's 2-1 defeat to Napoli on Saturday means Massimiliano Allegri's side have won just once in their opening six league fixtures.

"We are all responsible," the France international told reporters following the loss.

"Our young players cannot be used as an excuse and it's down to the older heads to help them out.

"It's a difficult moment for us, and it hurts, but we're not panicking and I remain fully optimistic. Now we've got the Champions League and Bologna and we want to win at home."

Juventus, who beat Manchester City in their opening Champions League group tie, occupy 13th position in the Serie A table following the defeat at the Stadio San Paolo.
