Paulo Dybala: 'Juventus deserved win at Empoli'

Paulo Dybala says that Juventus are the "strongest side in Serie A" after their 3-1 win over Empoli.

Juventus forward Paulo Dybala has said that his team deserved to claim the points in their 3-1 win over Empoli this afternoon.

Massimo Maccarone had given the Azzurri an early lead, but goals from Mario Mandzukic and Patrice Evra turned the game in favour of Massimiliano Allegri's side.

Dybala then came off the bench to wrap up the victory in the closing stages to help Juventus continue their resurgence after a poor start to the season.

"We wanted the win and we're therefore happy," Dybala told Sky Sport Italia. "After conceding the early goal we reacted well and the victory was deserved. There are many players who are doing well, so I was not remotely upset at starting from the bench.

"I am just happy when I get to give my contribution and I remain concentrated always. Unfortunately in this sport only 11 players can start.

"We believe we're the strongest side in Serie A and we want to prove it. The next game against Milan is the perfect fixture to continue this good moment."

Juventus are currently in seventh place in the Serie A table.
