Nicklas Bendtner pleased with Juventus progress

Juventus striker Nicklas Bendtner admits that he was "satisfied" to finally play 90 minutes for the club.

Juventus striker Nicklas Bendtner has revealed that he was relieved to play 90 minutes for the Serie 'A' club in their 1-0 win over Catania on Sunday.

The Danish forward had only played 11 minutes of league action since his loan move from Arsenal during the summer and he has admitted that he was pleased to contribute to his side's win at Catania.

Bendtner told Corriere dello Sport: "I have not played that much, so it was good to be there from the start and to be on for 90 minutes.

"I am satisfied. I played well and I did my best to contribute to the victory."

Juventus are currently three points clear at the top of the Serie A table.
