Juventus's Antonio Conte wants "historic" third Serie A win

Juventus coach Antonio Conte believes that a third straight Serie A title would represent a "historic" achievement for the club.

Juventus coach Antonio Conte has revealed that the club are chasing a "historic" third straight Serie A title next season.

Juve finished nine points ahead of Napoli to claim their second successive Scudetto title in 2012-13, and Conte is targeting a hat-trick of league triumphs next term.

"To win in the third year would be historic. But we know it's going to be very difficult to repeat. If we work hard though, we can do something historic," Conte told reporters.

"We are starting this third season after two extraordinary vintages. In these past two years, we have written an important page in our history. We got back to the image that Juventus have always sought.

"But the past counts for nothing now. We have to take on board what we have done over these past few years, but if there is no humility then we will not achieve a thing."

The Bianconeri have already added Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez to their squad this summer.
