Giorgio Chiellini berates 'harsh' Atletico defeat

Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini has claimed that his side did not deserve last night's 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.

Arda Turan struck the only goal of the game on 75 minutes as all four Group A teams - together with Malmo and Olympiacos - sit on three points after matchday two.

"We played well and it's a pity we didn't pick up a result that we would have deserved," he told reporters.

"We knew it would be a tight group. Our away trip to Olympiacos will give us a decent indication of our chances of qualification."

Massimiliano Allegri's side resume Serie A duties by clashing with co-leaders Roma in Turin on Sunday.
