Juventus successfully negotiated Racing FC Union, Kiryat Gat and Koge to secure their place in the main draw of the Champions League.

After beginning the group stage with a 2-0 away win over Zurich, Joe Montemurro's side played out a 1-1 draw with the reigning European champions Lyon.

Since that draw, Juventus have claimed two league victories either side of a penalty-shootout defeat in the Super Cup after drawing 1-1 with Roma.

They will now turn their attention to Thursday's contest, where Montemurro will be looking to get the better of his former club, who he managed for nearly four years before leaving Arsenal in 2021.

Including qualifying, Juventus are unbeaten in their last eight home games in the Champions League, and they will be looking to continue their impressive home record against Arsenal.

The Gunners are dreaming of winning their second Champions League trophy this season, and the early signs are positive for Arsenal after winning their opening two group games.

They began their campaign with a memorable 5-1 away win over Lyon before they beat Zurich 3-1 thanks to a Jordan Nobbs strike and a Lina Hurtig brace.

Although they are yet to drop points in the Champions League, Jonas Eidevall's side lost for the first time in a competitive game this season in Sunday's WSL home meeting with Manchester United.

After falling behind, Frida Maanum and Laura Wienroither both found the net to give the Gunners a two-goal lead, but two late goals from Millie Turner and Alessia Russo condemned Arsenal to a 3-2 defeat.

While they lost at home against Man United, the Gunners have won their last eight away games across competitions in a run that stretches back to last season, and after scoring 23 goals and keeping seven clean sheets in that period, they will be confident of recording another victory on Thursday.

Team News

Juventus boss Montemurro rested a number of players for the win over Parma, but the likes of Pauline Peyraud-Magnin, Linda Sembrant and Julia Grosso are expected to return to the starting lineup.

Barbara Bonansea also dropped down to the bench for Saturday's victory, but she will feature in the front three against Arsenal.

Cristiana Girelli has scored eight goals in all competitions this season, and she will be looking to add to her tally when she features in the forward line.

As for the visitors, they confirmed on Tuesday that Beth Mead ruptured an anterior cruciate ligament in the defeat to Manchester United, which is set to keep her on the sidelines for an extended period.

Arsenal are also without the services of Leah Williamson and Rafaelle, while Hurtig is not fit enough to face her former club.

After featuring as a second-half substitute at the weekend, Vivianne Miedema could be brought into the starting lineup.

Juventus Women possible starting lineup:
Peyraud-Magnin; Lenzini, Sembrant, Salvai, Boattin; Junge-Pedersen, Grosso, Caruso; Bonansea, Beerensteyn, Girelli

Arsenal Women possible starting lineup:
Zinsberger; Wienroither, Wubben-Moy, Catley, McCabe; Walti, Maanum, Nobbs; Foord, Miedema, Blackstenius

We say: Juventus Women 2-2 Arsenal Women

While Arsenal will be looking to maintain their 100% record in the group stage, we think that they will have to be content with a point against a Juventus side who usually perform well on home turf.
