Italy head coach Cesare Prandelli could be about to agree terms on a new four-year contract, according to reports.
Prandelli, who has been in charge of the national team since 2010, has been linked with a return to club management, with Tottenham Hotspur the most recent report.
However, with a reported increase in his role among a reorganisation of the national team, Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Prandelli has been convinced to stay in his role and sign a new deal.
It is believed that the new contract would keep him at the helm until the summer of 2018.
