Mario Balotelli: "I could be Peter Pan"

Controversial Italy striker Mario Balotelli has compared himself to children's fictional character Peter Pan.

The Manchester City frontman made the claim during a rare appearance at a press conference earlier today.

"I could be Peter Pan because I do things my own way and I'm a bit free," he told reporters.

"I could be Peter Pan but I think I'm more of a man than Peter Pan."

Balotelli is expected to regain his place in the Italian starting lineup for tomorrow's Euro 2012 quarter-final against England.
