Ryan Stevenson nears Ipswich Town move

Unsettled striker Ryan Stevenson is soon to end his Hearts nightmare and complete a £50,000 move to Ipswich Town, according to STV.

The 27-year-old has recently refused to play for the Edinburgh club following a dispute over unpaid wages and is believed to be in Suffolk undergoing a medical.

The deal expected to be completed on Monday.

Stevenson was called into the Scotland squad for the recent friendly against Cyprus but has yet to make an appearance for the national team.

If the move is completed it will be the Tractor Boys' first signing of the January window.
