Ipswich Town are reportedly closing in on a move for former Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Christophe Berra.
The Scotland international is currently a free agent following his departure from Molineux at the end of last season.
The 28-year-old is now on the verge of reuniting with Mick McCarthy at Portman Road, according to Sky Sports News.
McCarthy signed Berra in 2009 when he was in charge at Wolves.
