Mick McCarthy happy for Cameron Stewart to leave Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy reveals that bids for Cameron Stewart will be welcomed this summer.

Ipswich Town manager Mick McCarthy has revealed that Cameron Stewart is free to leave the Tractor Boys.

The former Manchester United winger, 24, joined the Suffolk side on a three-year contract last summer but failed to make a single league appearance in the Championship under McCarthy.

After watching his side win 6-0 against Shelbourne in their first pre-season fixture, McCarthy said that bids for Stewart would be welcomed.

"Cameron is available for transfer, yes," McCarthy told the club website.
