Kevin Bru earns new Ipswich Town contract

Ipswich Town have secured the services of Kevin Bru until 2018 with a new three-and-a-half-year contract.

The Mauritian midfielder, whose deal also gives Ipswich the option of a further year, joined the Blues on a one-year contract last summer and has gone on to make 21 appearances in all competitions.

The 26-year-old was a free agent after leaving Bulgarian outfit Levski Sofia.

He made his first league start in almost two months as Ipswich beat Millwall 3-1 on Saturday to move back up into the Championship's automatic promotion places.
