A late comeback from Ipswich Town gave them a 2-1 win against Leeds United at Portman Road.

Ross McCormack gave the visitors a deserved lead on 34 minutes when he headed Robert Snodgrass's cross past David Stockdale.

United were down to 10 men soon after the restart, when Aidy White brought down Jay Emmanuel-Thomas as he went through on goal.

Town's fightback began on 77 minutes when substitute Jason Scotland levelled the scores, before Keith Andrews's deflected effort secured the win.

Ipswich travel to Blackpool on Saturday, September 10, while Leeds host Crystal Palace.
