Agent: 'Leandro Damiao interested in Italy'

Internacional striker Leandro Damiao has expressed an interest in moving to Italy, according to the player's agent.

The 23-year-old Brazilian international was close to joining Tottenham Hotspur during the January transfer window before a deal was called off.

"The Italian championship is a goal for Leandro but he is focusing on having success in Brazil, but anything can happen in June," Vinicius Prates told TuttoNapoli.

Napoli are believed to be the frontrunners to land Damiao in the summer.
