Wesley Sneijder: 'I am for sale'

Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder has said he thinks he is for sale.

The Dutch international has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United for most of the summer.

He was, however, reported as being ready to complete a move to United’s local rivals Manchester City in Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport on Friday.

City manager Roberto Mancini has since denied these claims.

The 27-year-old has now revealed that he expects Inter to accept bids for his services.

"All I know is that Inter need money and apparently I'm for sale for the right amount," Sneijder told Voetbal International magazine.

"I've not spoken with City or United so I cannot say anything about my future."

Sneijder scored a free kick in Inter’s 2-1 defeat to Milan rivals AC in the Italian Super Cup on Saturday and is likely to feature in Holland’s friendly against England at Wembley on Wednesday.
