Report: Inter Milan target Davy Klaassen

Inter Milan are reportedly preparing a January swoop for Ajax midfielder Davy Klaassen.

The 22-year-old came through the youth system at his current club and has scored 29 times for the Dutch outfit from a midfield position.

This season, the Netherlands international has netted eight times in 21 appearances, with his form leading to talk of a move to Juventus.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, however, Inter have risen to the head of the queue and are preparing to launch a bid in the region of £6m.

It is understood that Inter officials have already met with Klaassen's agent, with the player said to be keen on a move to Serie A.
