Team News: Lukas Podolski back for Inter Milan against Fiorentina

Lukas Podolski has returned to the Inter Milan starting lineup for this evening's Serie A match against Fiorentina.

The 29-year-old was ineligible for their Europa League victory over Celtic in midweek, but he is back to link up with Mauro Icardi and Mateo Kovacic in the attack.

There is also a return in goal for Samir Handanovic, while Nemanja Vidic starts in place of the rested Andrea Ranocchia.

Fiorentina were also in European action on Thursday evening and they have made a total of eight changes to the side that claimed a 2-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Khouma Babacar, Josip Ilicic and Alberto Aquilani are among that players that return for the Viola, as they look for a victory that would move them to within three points of Napoli in the Serie A table.
