Team News: Geoffrey Kondogbia handed Inter Milan debut

Inter Milan have named Geoffrey Kondogbia in the starting lineup for their first Serie A match of the season against Atalanta BC this evening.

The 22-year-old joined the Nerazzurri from Monaco earlier this summer and slots straight into their midfield with Gary Medel, Marcelo Brozovic and Assane Demoya Gnoukouri.

Last season's top scorer Mauro Icardi will lead the line alongside Rodrigo Palacio, while there is also a start for Brazilian defender Miranda, who has joined the club from Atletico Madrid.

Meanwhile, Argentine duo German Denis and Maximiliano Moralez will look to provide the attacking threat for the visitors.

There are also debuts in the midfield for summer signings Marten de Roon and Jasmin Kurtic.
