Ranieri hopes to stay at Inter

Claudio Ranieri has said that he hopes to stay as the manager of Inter Milan after his side's 2-2 draw with Catania at the San Siro.

The Nerazzuri came back from 2-0 down on Sunday to salvage a point and end their run of four consecutive Serie A defeats.

Despite the slight improvement in form, Ranieri's future at the club is still in doubt.

"My position? The important thing is Inter, I try to do the best for the team," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"I have a two-year contract and I hope to stay. I think about working and doing the best I can.

"This is not a simple case, but I believe."

Inter remain seventh in the Serie A table following the draw.
