Inter Milan manager Luciano Spalletti has won an appeal against his one-match touchline ban for excessive celebrations.
Spalletti will now be in the home dugout for Tuesday’s Serie A clash with Fiorentina, but has been handed a fine of 5,000 euros for over-celebrating Marcelo Brozovic’s last-gasp winner at Sampdoria on Saturday.
A statement from the Italian Football Federation (FIGC) read: “The First Section of the National Sports Court of Appeals, after hearing the Fourth Officer, accepted Inter’s appeal and have withdrawn the one-game touchline ban of Nerazzurri coach Luciano Spalletti, handing him a fine of five thousand euros.”
Inter currently sit in ninth place in Serie A and are still searching for their first home league win of the season after picking up just one point from their two matches at the San Siro.
