Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar has denied announcing on Facebook that he will be leaving the San Siro this summer.
A message was posted on the social media site that appeared to close the book on his career with the Nerazzurri.
Speculation linking him with a move to either Tottenham Hotspur or Arsenal has been mounting following the arrival of Samir Handanovic from Udinese.
However, the Brazilian denies making those comments and said that, if he is to leave, he will tell the fans himself.
"I want to point out that I never made any statement on my future," the 32-year-old told Sky Sport Italia. "I absolutely deny giving the quotes that appeared, as it was not my Facebook page.
"If I have anything to tell the fans, then I will want to do it personally."
Cesar joined Inter from Flamengo in 2005.
