Hull City interested in Allan McGregor

Hull City have confirmed that Besiktas player Allan McGregor is on their shortlist as they target a new goalkeeper ahead of their return to the Premier League.

Manager Steve Bruce is looking for a new first-choice stopper after they failed to agree a deal with on-loan goalkeeper David Stockdale.

The Tigers have been linked with a move for Leicester City's Kasper Schmeichel, but a Hull spokesman has told BBC Scotland that McGregor is also 'on their radar'.

Hull are yet to make an offer for the 31-year-old, but they could be encouraged to do so with the Scotland international having just one year remaining on his contract in Turkey.
