New Hull City boss Steve Bruce could reportedly hand his son Alex Bruce a lifeline at the KC Stadium.

The 27-year-old was released by Leeds United at the end of last season, and he has reportedly attracted the interest of a host of Championship clubs.

However, Tigers boss Bruce has moved to the head of the queue, according to The Sun, and a move could be completed this week.

Hull finished eighth in the Championship last season.
