Charlie Austin's 'Hull City move breaks down after failing medical'

Burnley striker Charlie Austin's proposed move to Hull City appears to have broken down after the forward reportedly failed a medical.

The 24-year-old is thought to have been booked in for medical tests yesterday ahead of a switch to Steve Bruce's side.

It has emerged that Austin failed to come through the medical, but Hull have not divulged the reasons behind it, according to Sky Sports News.

Austin, who netted 28 goals last season, has also been linked to Southampton and Celtic.
