Hull City have confirmed that Sone Aluko has signed a new two-and-a-half-year deal with the club.
The 24-year-old midfielder, who is currently out of action with an Achilles injury, has agreed a contract that will keep him at the KC Stadium until the summer of 2016.
Aluko has admitted that he is pleased to commit his future to the Tigers.
"I'm happy to extend my stay here. I've said right from the beginning that I was happy here," he told the Hull Daily Mail.
"I'm glad that it's done, but I never thought that it wouldn't happen. I have to thank the manager and the owners of the club. I would also like to thank my teammates for helping to make my time here a success."
Aluko joined Hull from Rangers in the summer of 2012.
