Report: Allam to put Hull up for sale

Hull City owner Assem Allam is expected to make an announcement on his future this week.

The 75-year-old has called a press conference for Thursday to discuss "the future of Hull City Tigers" and is reportedly considering putting the club up for sale.

Allam previously threatened to walk out on the KC Stadium outfit when the Football Association rejected his controversial proposal to have the club's name changed from Hull City AFC to Hull Tigers.

However, it has also been suggested that Allam will hand over the chairmanship of Hull to his son, acting chief executive Ehab Allam, when he speaks to the country's media at 2pm on Thursday afternoon.

Allam bought Hull in 2010 and has since overseen their return to the Premier League.
