Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone happy with draw at Arsenal

Tom Huddlestone insists that Hull can be proud of Saturday's 2-2 draw at Arsenal, despite conceding a late goal at the Emirates Stadium.

Hull City midfielder Tom Huddlestone has insisted that his team can be proud of their recent draw away to Arsenal in the Premier League.

The Tigers were on course for a shock 2-1 win at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday before Danny Welbeck's late goal secured the Gunners a share of the spoils.

Despite being so close to earning an impressive victory in London, Huddlestone believes that Hull can be pleased with the result.

"We always knew it would be a difficult afternoon," he told the club's official website. "Arsenal are one of the best teams in Europe when it comes to keeping possession, so we knew we would have to be organised and rigid behind the ball.

"It was a tough game and we were so close to hanging on for all three points, but a point away at a team that is fighting for the top four is still a great result nonetheless."

Hull are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Liverpool in the Premier League.
