Chuba Akpom has admitted that finding the net early on in his Hull City career has helped lift some weight off his shoulders.
The Arsenal loanee bagged his first ever senior goal in the Tigers' opening-day win over Huddersfield Town.
That was followed up by a crucial strike against Accrington Stanley in the League Cup, with Akpom now seeking even more of an impact in attack.
"It was nice to score in my first two games," he told Hull's official website. "As a striker, you never want to be waiting too long for your first goal but now I'm up and running, I want more.
"I've got to be patient though because we have many more games to come, but it's down to me to take the chance when it comes my way."
Akpom was called up to the England Under-21s squad earlier this week for games against the USA and Norway.
