Steve Bruce hails Tom Huddlestone, Jake Livermore

Hull City boss Steve Bruce hails the performances of Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore in their first starts for the Tigers in their 1-0 win over Norwich City.

Hull City boss Steve Bruce has hailed the performances of duo Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore in his side's victory over Norwich City.

The Tigers secured their first Premier League win of the season thanks to a strike from the penalty spot from Robbie Brady, despite being reduced to 10 men when Yannick Sagbo was sent off.

"It was just the icing on the cake for me, with a little bit of quality that you need at this level," Bruce told the club's official website.

"Tom Huddlestone and Jake Livermore are two very, very good footballers, and to have them in our midfield is terrific. Tom can only get better, he's such a wonderful footballer that the game is so easy for him, he makes it look so simple and obviously it's not.

"He's just a wonderful, wonderful player and he's had a wonderful debut alongside Livermore, who, in my opinion, suits him."

Next up for Hull in the Premier League is a visit to Manchester City.
